Backstory to why this website began:

The owner of this website was sexually abused as a child and when she asked for help she was put Infront of her abuser who was asked if it was true and of course he denied it. She remembers a big family meeting being held whilst she was sent out of the house with her abuser so the family meeting could be held. The abuse continued. She was around 6 to 8 years old when she knew she needed help but no help was available. This has continued to be the case throughout her life when trying to end child rape and child exploitation- she has never been given help or support neither from the authorities or other people. BACT & SOS was established to offer up help and support for adult victim survivors and for all non offending parents of children who have suffered CSA.

In her twenties she escaped a pimp who tried to traffick her and can help adult victims find support from services and offers therapeutic activities like poi practice and jewellery making.

As an adult she had tried to help a member of her family who had fallen into the hands of pimps and traffickers but still no one listened to her or helped her. SOS Dorset in BACT & SOS can help parents to navigate social services and other organisations when trying to help their own children or family members.

The constant abusive attacks she receives for standing up against child abuse and child trafficking can sometimes be too much to bear and sometimes she needs to step away from the cause to readjust. 

Only when people start to take a stand and take child rape seriously enough to want to help prevent it - will it bring about change - but until then we will continue to live inside a world where people would rather ignore it, brush it under the carpet and choose to do nothing about it. 

To all those people who also choose to attack others for standing up against child abuse and do nothing to help!  You are part of the problem and are viewed as perpetuating child rape!
